1.What do you see with the future of food retailing?
Online shopping is a certain influencer, but with over 35,000 supermarkets in the U.S., you can bet brick and mortar retailers are closer to shoppers’ front doors than anyone else to provide food solutions. Food purchasing is a personal and sensory experience. Many shoppers will still want to play a larger role in their grocery shopping process than clicking and online shopping. Alliance is on the cutting edge of digital, continuously evaluating and studying the market as more shoppers’ purchase decisions are driven by social/digital.
2.What do you see as the future of the industry?
We are excited for the future! The CPG industry is being driven first and foremost by innovation by entrepreneurial brands. Even the large multi brand conglomerates are looking to make their companies more nimble as it pertains to their brand portfolios. This is only going to make the industry more exciting.
3.What is different about Alliance?

We love change! We are constantly assessing the industry and looking for opportunities to innovate. When an opportunity is identified, Alliance can move quickly and make investments today for the future (in both talent and technology) since we are private and debt-free.
5.What retailers do you focus on?
Every retailer in the U.S. that has a food-focus, from the largest segment (Supermarkets) to trend-setting retailers in the Natural Channel. We have close, trusted relationships with national retailers like Kroger, Publix, Whole Foods, Albertson’s, HEB, Hy-Vee, and Wegmans, but also have respected tight-knit relationships with key local and regional retailers in your area.

Our focus is on food. Food is our passion and Alliance has years of experience and proven success in growing food brands.
7.Does it matter that Alliance is privately owned?
Alliance’s focus is growing your brand and continuing to develop innovative ways of going to market, not on financing. While other brokers must devote many of their resources to finding financing or answering to investors, Alliance is able to focus on the one thing that matters to you: growing your brand.
