Charlotte, North Carolina (April 1st, 2024) — Alliance Sales and Marketing, a pioneering force in connecting consumer product brands with retailers for over two decades, in sponsorship partnership with  SPINS®, a leading provider of data and insights for the natural and specialty products industry, proudly announces its inaugural event, the “Jumpstart Jam.” Set to take place in Charlotte, NC this July 24th, the Jumpstart Jam promises to be a groundbreaking opportunity for brands nationwide to showcase their emerging products and vie for a chance at unparalleled exposure and support from the nation’s leading privately-owned food broker.

“I am thrilled to announce our first-ever Jumpstart Jam event,” said Scott Anderson, CEO of Alliance Sales and Marketing. “Over the past 20 years, we’ve built more than 50 brands from under $2 million in sales to exits of over $60 million. With this competition, we’re looking for the next big thing!”

Leading up to the main event, brands from all corners of the country will have the chance to submit video pitches showcasing their unique products and visions. A panel of industry experts will carefully review these submissions and select a group of three finalists who will then be invited to Charlotte for the ultimate showdown.

On competition day, July 24th, finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their products in-person to a distinguished panel of judges, comprising seasoned professionals from the consumer product industry. The stakes are high as the selected winner will receive one year of national brokerage representation services from Alliance Sales and Marketing, a $250K value, along with the esteemed title and bragging rights as the Jumpstart Jam champion. Among the finalists, one lucky competing company will be awarded a special package sponsored by SPINS®, providing them with exclusive access to data-driven insights and resources to further propel their brand forward.

To be a part of this opportunity, interested brands are encouraged to apply on the Alliance website. Participation in this exciting event is contingent upon meeting specific criteria: Eligible companies should demonstrate an annual revenue falling between $1M – $20M in U.S. sales, within departments such as Baby Care, Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, Pet, or Nutritional Supplements. Additionally, products must be currently available for sale in the U.S. Top three finalists are expected to actively engage in event marketing and promotion. It is essential that the CEO and/or founder be available to attend the Pitch Slam Competition held at Alliance’s Headquarters in Charlotte, NC, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
